Campus Food Bank’s Mason Jar Cooking Class
Friday: SustainX Symposium

1) SustainX Symposium & Mixer

What: This mixer brings students, faculty, and Edmonton professionals together to discuss sustainability. The event’s theme is the “ways and considerations of sustainability,” focused on ideas for a socially/economically/environmentally sustainable future.

The event involves 6 speakers, featuring Stephani Carter, General Manager of EcoAmmo, as keynote. Each speaker will give a 20 slide Pecha Kucha presentation. Snacks will be provided.

When: Friday, March 23rd (5-9pm)
Where: 8th floor DICE
Cost: $5.95 online or $6 at the door.

1) Campus Food Bank’s Mason Cooking Class

What: Campus Food Bank is hosting a free mason jar salad-making workshop as part of Health Week. Bring your own mason jar and learn about meal planning and healthy eating. SustainSU’s very own Blog Team co-leader, Freya, will be presenting a short section on sustainable meal prep.
